Huron sits at one of the best boating locations on Lake Erie, open water for cruising and sailing just minutes away, with the calm Huron River providing sheltered access year-round.
HYC members interested in keeping their boat close to the club should inquire about slip options through the Huron Boat Basin, the city-operated marina adjacent to the club. Availability changes seasonally, so we encourage you to reach out early.

Know the Docks
The HYC marina sits on the Huron River, steps from the clubhouse. Slips are arranged along two main dock rows, with a dedicated transient dock for visiting boaters and a fuel and pump-out station at the south end.

Ohio Clean Marina — 10 Year Anniversary
HYC has been an Ohio Clean Marina certified facility for over a decade, demonstrating a sustained commitment to protecting clean water and fresh air on Lake Erie. Awarded by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Ohio Sea Grant in February 2024.
Inter-Lake Yachting Association
HYC is a proud member of the Inter-Lake Yachting Association (I-LYA), the governing body for sailing and racing on the Great Lakes. Membership connects our club to regattas, racing events, and the broader Great Lakes boating community.
